how did you get such a small number f stop (large aperture) because i have the XSi and the smallest number i have is f/3.5
ive been trying to get down to f/2.8 all day and its not working.
how did you manage that?

the f stop can go as low as your lens' maximum aperture lets it go, if you want a bigger aperture, you need a different lens, for this shot, i used a 50mm f/1.8, pretty big aperture. It's also mad cheap, you should try it out!
